These terms govern your use of training.personalfinanceservices.co.uk and the "PFS Mock Exams" service (the "Service"), operated by Audio.Visual.Digital, trading as Personal Finance Services / PFS Mock Exams ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or buying anything from us, you agree to these terms.

What we sell

We sell digital, instant-access mock examinations and revision materials for CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning units (R01–R05), individually or as a bundle, at the prices shown on the site at the time of purchase. Access is granted to your account immediately after payment is confirmed.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). All questions are original content written in the style of the official specification and are not reproductions of any live CII question bank. See the intro screen of each exam for the full disclaimer.

This content is intended as a study aid only and is not a substitute for the official syllabus, study texts or specimen papers. Figures and rules reflect the syllabus year stated on the site at the time it was written and may not reflect subsequent official updates — always check current official CII materials.

Accounts

You need an account to buy or access anything. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.

Payment and refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

Because our products are digital content delivered instantly on payment, all sales are final and non-refundable once access has been granted. Under UK consumer law, you would normally have a 14-day right to cancel a distance-selling purchase — by completing your purchase, you confirm you understand that you are requesting immediate access to digital content and expressly agree to waive that cancellation right, in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

If you believe you've been charged in error (e.g. a duplicate payment or a genuine technical fault preventing access), contact us and we'll look into it.

Acceptable use

Your purchase is for your own personal, individual study use. You may not share your account or login details with anyone else, resell or redistribute exam content, or attempt to copy, scrape, or republish the question bank. We may suspend or terminate accounts found to be misusing the Service in this way.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but don't guarantee uninterrupted access — things like maintenance, third-party outages (e.g. our hosting or database providers), or factors outside our control can cause temporary downtime.

Liability

The Service is provided as a study aid, "as is." While we take care over accuracy, we don't guarantee that using it will result in any particular exam outcome, and we're not liable for exam results, decisions, or losses arising from reliance on the content. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (e.g. for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time, e.g. to reflect new features or legal requirements. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and significant changes will be flagged on the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
